My earliest memories of Uncle Harvey were that he was a fun Uncle. He teased us just enough that we felt we received the desired attention from him. I used to enjoy Grandpa's teasing and Uncle Harvey had inherited just the right amount of that ability. I remember his once saying he'd like to have been a lawyer but he was sure that was not an acceptable choice of profession from his parents' viewpoint. He would have made a good one, but it shows his great family love that he gave his parents feelings that high priority. I loved to listen to him when he was "visiting" with the various members of the family. I'm sure he was a fun part of his own family too. He enjoyed his "all girl" family and liked to mention that. He enjoyed it too when they brought boys into the family. Aunt Mildred was always a very special person and we rejoice today for her special place in our family.
