Uni of Kentucky Chemistry Professor since 1953.
Learned techniques used years ago to restore 1931 Waco Biplane as a family project 1973-8. Plane had been "little more than junk" and they trucked it back to Lexington and "dumped" it in the garage. They obtained original Waco blueprints from the Smithsonian Institution, searched the country for old parts, and sometimes made new ones with old techniques. Now have it flying!

Poem by Ralph written the day Jacqueline was born

JACQUELINE ROSE

At two fifty-five the world you did see
When I cut the cord, you than became free.
From that small little womb of mother's protection
Came you Jacqueline Rose my child from conception

In this big ole world that you did enter
I pray the Lord that Christ will center.
For at your first breath ole Satan began
To work in your heart his dastardly plan.

Remember my dear the one who is greater
Whose path is not crooked, and all the more straighter.
The path that was blazed was done with great love
With pain and suffering by a Man from above.

The pain He did suffer He bore on a tree
And shed His own blood to save you and me.
My Sweet, little child I pray you will give
Your heart to my Jesus so you will live.

Love, Dad 10-6-86
